Throw a Back to School Party

We’re only a few days into August and you know what that means… it’s time to start preparing to send the kids packing… I mean, it’s time to send the kids back to school! It’s okay… we’ll pause while you do a little happy dance. 🙂 This month is usually crunch time for most people. You’re trying to cram in as many fun activities and trips as you can while also trying to prepare for school. Not that you need to add anything else to your plate, but you can always make back to school a little more exciting for your kids by throwing a back to school party.

You can make it as big or as small as you’d like. You can invite over just the cousins and friends or you can take it a step further and throw a block party with a back to school theme. You can take some of the responsibility off yourself and get a few of your mommy friends to join in the planning and hosting.

So what does a back to school party entail? It involves everything related to school and you can make it as simple or as extravagant as you like. You can make little back to school gift bags that contain a notebook, pencils, a pack of markets, hand sanitizer, and a little pencil pouch. You can get super creative with foods and use gummy worms for book worms, marshmallow chalk, pink erasers using pink sugar wafers, and pencils with yellow Twizzlers. To make things a little easier and to get a better visualization of a fun back to school party we’ve gathered a few of our favorite posts we’ve found floating around the internet. Even better? They both provide FREE printables for various party items and decorations!
