Who doesn’t love a baby shower? We almost can’t contain our excitement just thinking what Kate Middleton’s baby shower will look like! Did you know the Queen in waiting will be the first British royal to have a baby shower… ever?! We find that fact really sad but super excited that thanks to Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton (a Martha Stewart in training), that Kate will get to enjoy one moment that all mother’s relish in. And how modern of Queen Elizabeth to give her blessing for the party?

When we think about Kate Middleton’s baby shower we instantly have visions of a lavish afternoon tea party baby shower, it kind of just seems fitting for a true lady. We imagine lots of floral arrangements everywhere from the decorations to the centerpieces atop white linens and formal table settings. I think it’s pretty obvious that one thing about Kate Middleton’s pregnancy is the Royal family is keeping the heir to the throne’s gender under lock and key so we would love to see the color scheme to be white with hints of blues and pinks here and there to keep guests guessing. Although, we would love to see Kate’s first born to be a girl.

Every baby shower needs a few sweet treats. Guests could nibble on duckie and onesie shaped sugar cookies. Or they may indulge in a slice of cake. We found a photo of a gorgeous cake with white and pink roses separating white and blue cake tiers. Instead of using gender colored baby booties as a cake topper we simply adore this white baby carriage cake topper.

Here is a photo gallery of what we imagine the decor, flowers and sweet treats to look like at a garden tea party baby shower fit for a Queen. Please click on the circles to enlarge the photos for a better look.
